Scope and current behavior

Essential site operation and privacy choices remain active. Analytics, advertising and related services may use cookies or similar technologies according to the preference you select. Your choice is stored locally for 6 months and can be changed through Privacy settings.

This notice applies to the public CARM'INK website and its contact paths. It does not describe CARMLINK customer systems or connected-runtime services governed by separate notices.

Data categories and purposes

Depending on the chosen path, data may include contact details and message content voluntarily supplied by a visitor, technical request and security data handled by the host, and a local privacy-preference record. The purposes are to deliver the site, protect availability, respond to a request, route a business conversation and remember the visitor’s privacy choice.

This public site does not ask for sensitive data, customer records, private CARMLINK conversations or synthetic contact events. Visitors should avoid sending confidential information through a public contact channel unless the recipient and process are appropriate.

Legal basis

Essential delivery and security are processed on the basis of legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and applicable legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. A voluntary contact or business request is processed as necessary to respond to the request under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where applicable and otherwise on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Optional analytics, advertising and related services are processed on the basis of your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw through Privacy settings. The local privacy-choice record is used to remember your selection for 6 months.

Recipients and processors

Lou Modou Dia is the responsible data controller and data-protection contact: postmaster@carmink.com. The static site is hosted by OVH SAS / OVHcloud, France, at the Gravelines (GRA) datacenter. When a visitor chooses WhatsApp, the visitor leaves the static site and the external provider processes the exchange under its own terms and privacy information. Analytics, advertising and embedded-service providers may receive relevant data when their categories are selected, under their applicable terms and privacy information. The smart contact desk is loaded from a separate public CARMLINK endpoint; its processing is subject to that service’s own terms and privacy information. The static site does not proxy the exchange.

Where an external link is opened, the destination operator receives visitors under its own terms and privacy policy.

Retention principles

Technical and security logs are retained for up to 6 months. Contact and business exchanges may be retained for up to 3 years after the last meaningful contact where applicable. Privacy-choice acknowledgement is retained locally for 6 months and can be changed through Privacy settings. The responsible party deletes or anonymizes information when the applicable period ends, subject to legal obligations, dispute resolution and security requirements.

Rights and requests

Subject to applicable law, visitors may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and may change or withdraw a privacy choice where applicable. Send requests to postmaster@carmink.com. The supervisory authority is the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL), France: cnil.fr.

For your security, provide identity documents only after the recipient and a secure verification process have been confirmed.

Security and updates

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are applied to protect availability, security and the confidentiality of information handled through the site. No security guarantee is created by this informational page. This notice may be updated when the hosting, contact processing or legal framework changes.
